Sanatsujāta-Āhvāna (Summoning Sanatsujāta) — Vidura’s Invocation and Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Doubt
अधर्मनिपुणा मूढा लोके मायाविशारदा: । न मान्यं मानयिष्यन्ति मान्यानामवमानिन:
adharmanipuṇā mūḍhā loke māyāviśāradāḥ | na mānyaṃ mānayiṣyanti mānyānām avamānināḥ ||
Sanatsujāta disse: Neste mundo, aqueles que são hábeis no adharma, turvos no entendimento e peritos em engano não honram o que é verdadeiramente digno de honra. Por serem desprezadores habituais dos honrados, recusam respeito até mesmo aos que merecem reverência—mostrando como o adharma corrói a própria capacidade de reconhecer o bem e de manter a humildade.
