Sanatsujāta-Āhvāna (Summoning Sanatsujāta) — Vidura’s Invocation and Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Doubt
लोक: स्वभाववृत्तिहिं निमेषोन्मेषवत् सदा । विद्वांसो मानयन्तीह इति मन्येत मानित:
lokaḥ svabhāvavṛttihi nimeṣonmeṣavat sadā | vidvāṁso mānayantīha iti manyeta mānitaḥ ||
Sanatsujāta disse: “Neste mundo, a conduta que nasce da própria natureza prossegue continuamente, como o abrir e fechar dos olhos. Portanto, quando os sábios aqui demonstram honra, aquele que é honrado deve compreender assim: ‘Esta é a disposição natural das pessoas boas — oferecer respeito.’”
