उद्योगपर्व — विदुरनीतिः (Adhyāya 37): आयुःक्षयहेतवः, नीतिसूत्राणि, बलभेदाः, पाण्डव-विग्रहदोषदर्शनम्
करिष्यन् न प्रभाषेत कृतान्येव तु दर्शयेत्
kariṣyan na prabhāṣeta kṛtānyeva tu darśayet
Vidura aconselha que quem pretende agir não se limite a falar do que fará; que os feitos realizados sejam a própria prova. O impulso ético é a contenção na fala e a integridade na ação—evitar promessas vazias e demonstrar firmeza por meio de resultados.
