भीष्मस्वप्न-स्मृत्युपाख्यानम् | Bhīṣma’s Dream-Linked Recollection of the Paraśurāma Combat
यथावृत्तं महाराज सा च मां प्रत्यनन्दत । पुरुषांश्षादिशं प्राज्ञान् कन्यावृत्तान्तकर्मणि
yathāvṛttaṃ mahārāja sā ca māṃ pratyanandata | puruṣān ādiśaṃ prājñān kanyāvṛttāntakarmaṇi ||
Ó grande rei, relatei os acontecimentos exatamente como se deram, e ela também me recebeu com aprovação. Depois disso, nomeei homens perspicazes e ordenei-lhes que investigassem a origem da donzela e o relato completo de sua conduta, para que o assunto fosse compreendido com verdade e tratado conforme a devida propriedade.
