तूर्ण परिययु: सेनां कृत्स्नां कर्णस्य शासनात् | आज्ञापयन्तो राज्ञश्न योग: प्रागुदयादिति
tūrṇaṃ pariyayuḥ senāṃ kṛtsnāṃ karṇasya śāsanāt | ājñāpayanto rājñaś ca yogo prāg-udayād iti ||
Sañjaya disse: Por ordem de Karṇa, os mensageiros apressaram-se por todo o exército, proclamando a ordem do rei: “Que as forças se reúnam por completo e estejam prontas para a batalha antes do nascer do sol.”
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights the ethical weight of disciplined action: once a decision for war is set in motion, responsibility shifts to orderly execution—swift communication, unity of command, and preparedness—showing how collective action depends on adherence to leadership and timely readiness.
Sañjaya reports that, following Karṇa’s directive, messengers move rapidly throughout the whole army to announce the king’s instruction that everyone must be prepared for battle before sunrise.
