पाण्डवसेनानायकाभिषेकः तथा बलरामागमन-उपदेशः | Appointment of Pandava Commanders and Balarama’s Counsel

सकीलकवचा: सर्वे वासीवृक्षादनान्विता: । व्याप्रचर्मपरीवारा द्वीपिचर्मावृताश्च ते

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

sa-kīlaka-vacāḥ sarve vāsī-vṛkṣa-danānvitāḥ |

vyāghra-carma-parīvārā dvīpi-carmāvṛtāś ca te ||

Disse Vaiśampāyana: Todos eles estavam munidos de ferragens e fixações protetoras, providos de machados e outros instrumentos para cortar madeira, e de diversas ferramentas. Seus carros e apetrechos eram cercados por coberturas de pele de tigre e também envoltos em peles de leopardo — sinais de plena prontidão marcial e da sombria determinação que antecede a guerra.
