Droṇa–Vidura–Gāndhārī Counsel in the Royal Assembly (धर्मार्थयुक्ता सभा-उपदेश-प्रकरणम्)
“राजन! सत्यवतीके गर्भसे कुरुकुलका भार वहन करनेवाले धर्मात्मा महाबाहु श्रीमान् विचित्रवीर्य उत्पन्न हुए, जो मेरे छोटे भाई थे
rājan! satyavatyāṃ garbhase kurukulakā bhāra-vahanaṃ kurvantaḥ dharmātmā mahābāhuḥ śrīmān vicitravīrya utpannāḥ, yo me laghu-bhrātā āsīt.
Vāyu disse: “Ó rei, do ventre de Satyavatī nasceu o ilustre Vichitravīrya — de alma justa e de braços poderosos — que sustentou o fardo da linhagem dos Kuru. Ele era meu irmão mais novo.”
