Karna–Krishna Dialogue: Omens and Dream-Signs
यदा द्रक्ष्यसि संग्रामे भीमसेनं॑ महाबलम् | दुःशासनस्य रुधिरं पीत्वा नृत्यन्तमाहवे
sañjaya uvāca | yadā drakṣyasi saṅgrāme bhīmasenaṃ mahābalam | duḥśāsanasya rudhiraṃ pītvā nṛtyantam āhave |
Disse Sañjaya: “Quando, no campo de batalha, vires o poderosíssimo Bhīmasena beber o sangue de Duḥśāsana e dançar no meio do combate, então desaparecerá para ti qualquer sensação de viver numa era de retidão—Satya, Tretā ou Dvāpara. Tal visão proclamará quão longe o mundo caiu na dura lei da guerra e da retribuição, onde votos e vingança eclipsam os ideais mais brandos do dharma.”
