अस्तु शेषं कौरवाणां मा पराभूदिदं कुलम् | कुलघ्न इति नोच्येथा नष्टकीर्ति्नराधिप,“नरेश्वर! कौरववंश बचा रहे, इस कुलका पराभव न हो और तुम भी अपनी कीर्तिका नाश करके कुलघाती न कहलाओ
astu śeṣaṃ kauravāṇāṃ mā parābhūd idaṃ kulam | kulaghna iti nocyethā naṣṭakīrtir narādhipa ||
Vaiśaṃpāyana disse: “Que o que resta dos Kauravas perdure; que esta linhagem não caia em ruína. Não venhas a ser chamado de ‘assassino do próprio clã’; ó rei, não percas tua fama trazendo destruição sobre tua família.”
