गालवस्य विषादः तथा विष्णुप्रयाणम्
Gālava’s Despair and Resolve to Seek Viṣṇu
तस्य शुश्रूषणे यत्नमकरोद् गालवो मुनि: । गौरवाद् बहुमानाच्च हार्देन प्रियकाम्यया,उन दिनों उनके प्रति गौरवबुद्धि, विशेष आदर-सम्मानका भाव तथा प्रेम-भक्ति होनेके कारण उनकी प्रसन्नताके लिये गालव मुनि यत्नपूर्वक उनकी सेवा-शुश्रूषामें लगे रहते थे
tasya śuśrūṣaṇe yatnam akarod gālavō muniḥ | gauravād bahumānāc ca hārdena priyakāmyayā ||
Nārada disse: Por reverência, grande respeito e afeto do coração—buscando apenas agradá-lo—o sábio Gālava empenhava-se em serviço atento e em diligente assistência. O verso destaca a śuśrūṣā (serviço devotado) como disciplina ética fundada não na coerção, mas na estima sincera e na intenção amorosa.
