Shloka 84
भुक्तवत्सु द्विजेन्द्रेष यथावत् सम्प्रदापयेत् । वाचकं भरतश्रेष्ठ भोजयित्वा स्वलंकृतम्
bhuktavatsu dvijendreṣu yathāvat sampradāpayet | vācakaṃ bharataśreṣṭha bhojayitvā svalakṛtam, bharatabhūṣaṇa |
Vaiśampāyana disse: “Quando os brâmanes mais eminentes tiverem terminado a refeição, devem-se conceder, no devido modo, dádivas apropriadas. Depois, ó melhor dos Bhāratas, tendo honrado o recitador—adornado com vestes e ornamentos—deve-se alimentá-lo com excelente comida; e, em seguida, é justo satisfazê-lo com presentes e honras respeitosas.”
