शान्तिपर्वण्यपि तथा हविष्यं भोजयेद् द्विजान्

Vaiśampāyana disse: “Do mesmo modo, no Śānti-parvan, deve-se alimentar os duas-vezes-nascidos com haviṣya, a oblação sagrada.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
That dharmic conduct includes sustaining the learned and initiated through ritually pure hospitality—feeding dvijas with haviṣya—especially in contexts of pacification, expiation, and the re-establishment of peace.
Vaiśampāyana continues a prescriptive description of proper religious conduct, stating that, similarly, in the Śānti-parvan-related setting one should offer sanctified food (haviṣya) to dvijas as part of righteous observance.
