राजवृत्त-रक्षा-प्रणिधि-षाड्गुण्योपदेशः
Royal Conduct, Protection, Intelligence, and Policy Measures
यजन्ते च महायज्ैस्त्रयो वर्णा: पृथग्विधै: । युक्ताश्नाधीयते विद्यां यदा रक्षति भूमिप:
yajante ca mahāyajñais trayo varṇāḥ pṛthagvidhaiḥ | yuktāś cādhīyate vidyāṃ yadā rakṣati bhūmipaḥ ||
Disse Vasumanā: Quando o rei protege o reino, as três ordens sociais realizam grandes sacrifícios de vários tipos e, com atenção disciplinada, dedicam-se ao estudo do conhecimento. O verso apresenta a proteção real como a condição que permite à religião pública e à educação florescerem numa sociedade ordenada.
