Nara-Nārāyaṇa–Nārada Discourse on Vision, Elements, and Entry into Vāsudeva

ato me rocate gantum ādityaṁ dīptatejasam | atra vatsyāmi durdharṣo niḥśaṅkenāntarātmanā ||

Educational Q&A

The verse emphasizes inner fearlessness and self-assurance grounded in one’s inward resolve: when the mind is free from doubt and fear, one becomes ‘durdharṣa’—difficult to overpower—because stability of the inner self is a source of strength.

Nārada declares his intention to go to the radiant sphere of the Sun (Āditya) and live there. He presents this as a deliberate choice of abode, stating that in that realm he will dwell with a fearless inner heart and be difficult for others to defeat.
