Saṃhāra-krama (The Sequence of Cosmic Dissolution) — Yājñavalkya’s Discourse

तथैव वागुरां छिक्त्वा बलवन्तो यथा मृगा: । प्राप्तुयुर्विमलं मार्ग विमुक्ता: सर्वबन्धनै:

Transliteration

tathaiva vāgurāṁ chittvā balavanto yathā mṛgāḥ | prāptuyur vimalaṁ mārgaṁ vimuktāḥ sarvabandhanaiḥ ||

Translation

Bhīṣma disse: “Ó rei, assim como cervos fortes, tendo rasgado a rede do caçador, ficam livres de toda amarra e seguem por um caminho sem impedimentos, assim também os yogins, dotados do poder do yoga, rompem os vínculos nascidos da cobiça e alcançam o caminho supremamente puro e auspicioso.”
