दण्डो यत्राविनीतेषु सत्कारश्न कृतात्मसु । चरेत् तत्र वसेच्चैव पुण्यशीलेषु साधुषु,जहाँ उद्दण्ड पुरुषोंको दण्ड दिया जाता हो और जितात्मा पुरुषोंका सत्कार किया जाता हो, वहाँ पुण्यशील श्रेष्ठ पुरुषोंक बीच विचरना और निवास करना चाहिये
daṇḍo yatrāvinīteṣu satkāraś ca kṛtātmasu | caret tatra vasec caiva puṇyaśīleṣu sādhuṣu ||
Onde os indóceis são contidos por punição justa e os autocontrolados são honrados com o devido respeito—deve-se circular e também habitar ali, entre os virtuosos e os bons.
