जनक–पराशर संवादः — वर्ण-गोत्र-धर्मविचारः
Janaka–Parāśara: Varṇa, Gotra, and Dharma Inquiry
ततः सृष्टानि भूतानि तानि यान्ति पुनः पुनः । महाभूतानि भूतेभ्य ऊर्मय: सागरे यथा
tataḥ sṛṣṭāni bhūtāni tāni yānti punaḥ punaḥ | mahābhūtāni bhūtebhya ūrmayaḥ sāgare yathā ||
Bhīṣma disse: Depois disso, os seres que foram criados retornam, uma e outra vez. Assim como os grandes elementos surgem de seres mais sutis e neles se dissolvem de novo, e assim como as ondas surgem do oceano e tornam a fundir-se naquele mesmo oceano, do mesmo modo todas as criaturas procedem do Ser Supremo e, a seu tempo, são reabsorvidas Nele.
