पर्यड्क इव विभ्राजन्नुपविष्टो बभूव ह | शैलराजसुता चास्य नित्य पाश्वे स्थिता बभौ

paryaṅka iva vibhrājann upaviṣṭo babhūva ha | śailarājasutā cāsya nitya pārśve sthitā babhau ||

Bhīṣma disse: Sentado ali, ele resplandecia com esplendor extraordinário, como se repousasse num belo leito. E ao seu lado, sempre presente, estava a filha do rei das montanhas—a deusa Pārvatī—ela mesma radiante de graça incomparável. A cena realça a majestade de Maheśvara e a companhia auspiciosa e constante da Mãe Divina.
