बहुश्रुतश्चित्रकथ: पण्डितोडलालसो5शठ: । अदीनोडक्रोधनो<लुब्धस्तस्मात्‌ सर्वत्र पूजित:

Transliteration

bahuśrutaś citrakathaḥ paṇḍito ’lālaso ’śaṭhaḥ | adīno ’krodhano ’lubdhas tasmāt sarvatra pūjitaḥ ||

Translation

Disse Vāyu: Ele é amplamente instruído e conta histórias de modo singular e cativante. Embora plenamente consumado na erudição, está livre de cobiça e de engano. Não se curva diante da miséria, não é tocado pela ira, nem manchado pela ganância; por isso é honrado em toda parte.
