Yoga–Sāṃkhya Synthesis, Chariot Allegory, and the Vyakta–Avyakta Distinction
ततो दिवं प्राप्प सहस्रलोचन: श्रियोपपन्न: सुहृदा महर्षिणा । रथेन हर्यश्वयुजा सुर्षभ: सद: सुराणामभिसत्कृतो ययौ,तत्पश्चात् सहसनेत्रधारी सुरश्रेष्ठ इन्द्र लक्ष्मीदेवी तथा अपने सुहृद् महर्षि नारदके साथ हरे रंगके घोड़ोंसे जुते हुए रथपर बैठकर स्वर्गलोककी राजधानी अमरावतीमें आये और देवताओंसे सत्कृत हो उनकी सभामें गये
tato divaṁ prāpya sahasralocanaḥ śriyopapannaḥ suhṛdā maharṣiṇā | rathena haryaśvayujā surarṣabhaḥ sadaḥ surāṇām abhisatkṛto yayau ||
Então Indra, o senhor de mil olhos, tendo alcançado o céu e revestido de esplendor, seguiu acompanhado de seu amigo, o grande ṛṣi. Num carro atrelado a cavalos verdes, e honrado pelos deuses, o touro entre os celestiais entrou na assembleia deles.
शक्र उवाच
Righteous attainment culminates in honor and restored order: prosperity (śrī) and recognition arise when power is aligned with dharma and guided by the counsel and companionship of a sage.
Indra (Śakra), accompanied by a friendly great sage, reaches heaven and proceeds in his horse-yoked chariot to the gods’ assembly, where he is respectfully received and honored.
