इष्टगन्ध: सुखस्पर्श: सर्वेन्द्रियसुखावह: । उस समय देवमार्गोंपर मनोरम गन्ध और सुखद स्पर्शसे युक्त तथा सम्पूर्ण इन्द्रियोंको आनन्द प्रदान करनेवाले वायुदेव, जो अग्निदेवताके मित्र हैं, मन्दगतिसे बहने लगे |। ८६६ || शुचौ वाभ्यर्थिते देशे त्रिदशा: प्रायश: स्थिता:,उस परम पवित्र एवं मनोवाडञ्छित प्रदेशमें राजलक्ष्मीसहित इन्द्रदेवका दर्शन करनेके लिये प्रायः सभी देवता उपस्थित हो गये
iṣṭagandhaḥ sukhasparśaḥ sarvendriyasukhāvahaḥ | śucau vābhyarthite deśe tridaśāḥ prāyaśaḥ sthitāḥ ||
Śakra (Indra) disse: “Uma brisa, trazendo fragrância encantadora e toque agradável—dando alegria a todos os sentidos—começou a soprar suavemente. Então, naquela região supremamente pura e tão desejada, quase todos os deuses se reuniram, desejosos de contemplar Indra junto da Fortuna régia, Śrī.”
शक्र उवाच
The passage highlights how purity and auspicious conditions (pleasant fragrance, soothing breeze, a sanctified place) accompany rightful sovereignty and divine presence—suggesting that inner and outer harmony are signs of dharmic order and legitimate prosperity (Śrī) around a ruler.
Indra describes an auspicious atmosphere: a gentle, fragrant, pleasant breeze arises, and in that pure, desired region the gods gather in large numbers to behold Indra together with royal Fortune (Śrī/Rājalakṣmī).
