भूतानां निधन निष्ठा स्रोतसामिव सागर: । नैतत् सम्यग्विजानन्तो नरा मुहान्ति वज्धृक्
Translation
«Ó Indra, portador do Vajra! Assim como o oceano é o derradeiro abrigo dos cursos d’água, do mesmo modo a morte é o destino final dos seres corporificados. Os que compreendem isso corretamente não caem na ilusão.»
