जनक-राज्ञः मौण्ड्य-परिव्रज्या-विवादः
Janaka’s Renunciation Questioned; Discourse on Dāna and Detachment
तमुवाच समागत्य भर्तारमकुतो भयम् । क्रुद्धा मनस्विनी भार्या विविक्ते हेतुमद् वच:
tam uvāca samāgatya bhartāram akuto-bhayam | kruddhā manasvinī bhāryā vivikte hetumad vacaḥ ||
Aproximando-se, falou ao marido — destemido e inabalável. Sua esposa, de ânimo forte, irada mas resoluta, dirigiu-lhe em particular palavras ponderadas e cheias de propósito. A cena configura um confronto moral: a emoção está presente, porém é conduzida a um conselho deliberado, e não a um simples desabafo.
