कपोती-विलापः स्वर्गसंयोगश्च
The Dove’s Lament and Celestial Reunion
पक्षिणो वर्षवेगेन हता लीनास्तदा भवन् । मृगसिंहवराहाश्व स्थलम॒श्रित्य शेरते
pakṣiṇo varṣavegena hatā līnāstadā bhavan | mṛgasiṁhavarāhāśva sthalam āśritya śerate ||
Bhishma disse: Impelidas pela força da chuva, as aves foram abatidas e emudeceram, escondendo-se. Veados, leões, javalis e cavalos, buscando refúgio em terreno mais alto, ali se deitaram—cada qual procurando segurança quando a violência da natureza se impõe.
