Draupadī’s Exhortation on Rājadharma and Daṇḍa (द्रौपद्याः राजधर्मोपदेशः)
त्वं तु सर्वा महीं त्यक्त्वा कुरुषे स््वयमापदम् । ये सब लोग आपको समझानेका प्रयत्न कर रहे हैं
tvaṃ tu sarvāṃ mahīṃ tyaktvā kuruṣe svayam āpadam |
Disse Vaiśampāyana: “E, no entanto, tu, abandonando toda a terra—isto é, a soberania do mundo—estás trazendo a calamidade sobre a tua própria cabeça. Embora muitos se esforcem por aconselhar-te, não lhes dás ouvidos; o que digo neste momento não é falso. Ao renunciar ao reino de toda a terra, estás deliberadamente criando desgraça para ti mesmo.”
