Gaṇānāṃ Vṛttiḥ — On the Sustenance and Cohesion of Assemblies
Gaṇa-nīti
As a concluding notice, it signals that the chapter’s instruction centers on rāja-dharma framed through the allegory of Time (kāla)—urging rulers to act with discipline and foresight, recognizing impermanence and the inevitability of change.
This is a colophon marking the completion of the chapter within Śānti Parvan’s rāja-dharma instruction. Bhīṣma’s discourse segment associated with Guṇikā and the ‘Tree of Time’ theme is formally closed.
