सा वज्निष्पेषसमा प्रहिता भीमकर्मणा । ऊरू दुर्योधनस्याथ बभज्ज प्रियदर्शनी

Transliteration

sā vajraniṣpeṣa-samā prahitā bhīma-karmaṇā | ūrū duryodhanasyātha babhajja priya-darśanī ||

Translation

Arremessada por Bhīma—cujos feitos eram temíveis—a maça caiu como um raio. Ela despedaçou as coxas de Duryodhana, embora fossem agradáveis de contemplar. O momento ressalta que, na lógica brutal da guerra, até o que se admira no corpo de um guerreiro se torna vulnerável às consequências do orgulho, da rivalidade e do duro desenrolar do destino.
