Transliteration

Janamejaya uvāca: atyadbhutam idaṁ brahman śrutavān asmi tattvataḥ | abhiṣekaṁ kumārasya vistareṇa yathāvidhi ||

Translation

Janamejaya disse: “Ó brâmane, agora ouvi—com verdade e em pleno detalhe—o relato sobremaneira maravilhoso da consagração (abhiṣeka) do Príncipe, realizada segundo o rito devido. Recebi esta narração como deve ser recebida: com veracidade e com amplitude.”
