Kapālamocana-tīrtha (Auśanasa) and Balarāma’s Sarasvatī Pilgrimage

(त्वं प्रभु: परमैश्वर्यादधिक॑ं भासि शड्कर । त्वयि ब्रह्मा च शक्रश्न लोकान्‌ संधार्य तिष्ठत: ।।

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

(tvaṃ prabhuḥ paramaiśvaryād adhikaṃ bhāsi śaṅkara |

tvayi brahmā ca śakraś ca lokān saṃdhārya tiṣṭhataḥ ||

tvanmūlaṃ ca jagat sarvaṃ tvadantaṃ hi maheśvara |

tvayā hi vitatā lokāḥ sapteme sarvasambhava ||

sarvathā sarvabhūteśa tvām evārcanti devatāḥ |

tvanmayaṃ hi jagat sarvaṃ bhūtaṃ sthāvarajaṅgamam ||

svargaṃ ca paramaṃ sthānaṃ nṛṇām abhyudayārthinām |

dadāsi karmiṇāṃ karma bhāvayan dhyānayogataḥ ||

na vṛthāsti mahādeva prasādas te maheśvara |

yasmāt tvayopakaraṇāt karomi kamalekṣaṇa |

prapadye śaraṇaṃ śambhuṃ sarvadā sarvataḥ sthitam |)

Vaiśampāyana disse: “Ó Śaṅkara, tu és o Senhor; por tua soberania suprema, brilhas ainda mais. Em ti permanecem Brahmā e Indra, sustentando os mundos. Ó Maheśvara, o universo inteiro tem em ti a sua raiz, e em ti encontra o seu fim. Ó fonte de tudo, estes sete mundos surgiram de ti e se espalharam pelo cosmos. Ó Senhor de todos os seres, os deuses te adoram de todas as maneiras; pois o universo inteiro —o móvel e o imóvel— é permeado por ti e tem em ti o seu fundamento material. Concedes a morada mais elevada, o céu, aos homens que buscam prosperidade e ascensão, ponderando seus atos pela disciplina do yoga meditativo. Ó Mahādeva, ó Maheśvara, tua graça nunca é vã. Já que é pelos meios que tu concedes que posso agir, em ti me refugio, ó Śambhu —sempre presente, estabelecido em toda parte.”
