Saptasārasvata-tīrtha-prasaṅgaḥ | The Saptasārasvata Pilgrimage Account and the Maṅkaṇaka Narrative
इस प्रकार श्रीमह्ा भारत शल्यपववके अन्तर्गत गदापबव॑नें बलदेवजीकी तीरथ्थयात्राके प्रसंगमें त्रितका उपाख्यानविषयक छत्तीसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
kṛḍābhir vimalābhir yakṣāḥ krīḍanti vimalānanāḥ |
abhivādya munīṁs tān vai tatra tīrthanivāsinaḥ |
uddiṣṭamārgaḥ prayayau yatra bhūyaḥ sarasvatī ||
Disse Vaiśaṃpāyana: Naquele vau sagrado, seres celestes de rosto radiante deleitam-se continuamente em muitos jogos puros e graciosos, tendo lançado fora toda a lassidão. Então, após saudar devidamente os sábios que habitam naquele tīrtha, prosseguiu pela rota indicada até o lugar onde a Sarasvatī é novamente encontrada. A passagem ressalta o poder santificador da peregrinação: reverência aos ascetas e movimento disciplinado por um caminho prescrito são o quadro ético para fruir a beleza sagrada sem cair na negligência.
