रथान् सप्तशतान् हत्वा कुरूणामाततायिनाम् | पाण्डवा: सह पज्चालै: पुनरेवाभ्यवारयन्,उस समय पांचालोंसहित पाण्डवोंने आततायी कौरवोंके उन सात सौ रथियोंको मारकर पुन: अन्य योद्धाओंको आगे बढ़नेसे रोका
rathān saptśatān hatvā kurūṇām ātatāyinām | pāṇḍavāḥ saha pāñcālaiḥ punar evābhyavārayann ||
Disse Sañjaya: Tendo abatido setecentos guerreiros de carro dos Kurus, entregues a uma agressão assassina, os Pāṇḍavas—junto com os Pāñcālas—voltaram a conter o avanço inimigo, impedindo que outros combatentes avançassem.
