Unrestrained Battle Description and Śakuni’s Rear Assault
योधयन्तावपश्येतां कृतप्रतिकृतैषिणौ । वे दोनों वीर महारथी उत्तम कुलमें उत्पन्न हुए थे! अतः समरांगणमें एक-दूसरेके प्रहारका प्रतीकार करनेकी इच्छा रखकर जूझते दिखायी देते थे
yodhayantāv apaśyetāṃ kṛta-pratikṛtaiṣiṇau |
Disse Sañjaya: Enquanto lutavam, eram vistos como dois guerreiros decididos a retribuir golpe com contragolpe—cada qual buscando uma resposta à altura do que lhe fora feito. Nascidos de linhagem nobre e treinados como grandes guerreiros de carro, esforçavam-se no campo de batalha com a resolução de responder ao ataque do outro com um ato correspondente, encarnando a dura reciprocidade que rege o combate quando honra e retaliação se tornam o código imediato.
