अध्याय ९ — दुर्योधनस्य अन्त्यावस्था, विलापः, तथा सौप्तिक-प्रतिवृत्तम्
Duryodhana’s Final Condition, Lamentation, and the Night’s Report
यद् वै त्वां नानुगच्छामस्तेन धक्ष्यामहे वयम् | तत् स्वर्गहीना हीनार्था: स्मरन्त: सुकृतस्य ते
yad vai tvāṃ nānugacchāmas tena dhakṣyāmahe vayam | tat svargahīnā hīnārthāḥ smarantaḥ sukṛtasya te ||
Sañjaya disse: “Se de fato não te seguirmos, por essa mesma falta seremos consumidos. Privados do céu e despojados de todo ganho digno, continuaremos a lembrar tuas boas obras, ó rei, e arderemos dia e noite no fogo da dor.”
