नत्वां संदेष्टमहामि है [ प्रति शुचिस्मिते । साध्वीगुणसमापतन्ना भूषितं ते कुलद्धयम्‌

Transliteration

na tvāṃ saṃdeṣṭum aham iha prati śucismite | sādhvī-guṇa-samāpannā bhūṣitaṃ te kuladvayam ||

Translation

Vaiśaṃpāyana disse: “Ó mulher de sorriso puro e gentil, não julgo necessário instruir-te aqui sobre qual é o teu dever para com teus maridos. És dotada das virtudes das mulheres castas e nobres; trouxeste honra e ornamento a ambas as linhagens — a família de teu pai e a de teu esposo.”
