अनादिनिधन ये त्वामनुध्यायन्ति वै नरा: । तांस्त्वं पासीत्ययं वाद: स गतो व्यर्थतां कथम्
anādinidhana ye tvām anudhyāyanti vai narāḥ | tāṁs tvaṁ pāsi ity ayaṁ vādaḥ sa gato vyarthatāṁ katham ||
Vaiśaṃpāyana disse: “Ó Senhor, tu és sem começo e sem fim. Aqueles que continuamente meditam em ti são, com certeza, por ti protegidos em tempos de perigo. Como, então, pode esse voto proclamado por ti parecer ter-se tornado vão?”
