Dyūta-kathā-praśnaḥ — Inquiry into the Dice-Game Calamity
कृतमड़लकल्याणो भ्रातृभि: परिवारित: । गतेषु क्षत्रियेन्द्रेषु सर्वेषु भरतर्षभ
Vaiśampāyana uvāca |
Kṛtamaṅgalakalyāṇo bhrātṛbhiḥ parivāritaḥ |
Gateṣu kṣatriyendreṣu sarveṣu bharatarṣabha ||
Vaiśampāyana disse: Quando todos os mais ilustres reis entre os kṣatriyas já haviam partido, ó touro entre os Bharatas, o rei Yudhiṣṭhira—tendo concluído os ritos auspiciosos e cercado por seus irmãos—entrou em sua excelente cidade juntamente com seus ministros. Contudo, Duryodhana e Śakuni, filho de Subala, permaneceram naquele agradável salão de assembleia.
