Worldly success—symbolized by the completion of the Rājasūya—should be followed by humility and readiness to receive wise counsel. The verse frames kingship as accountable to dharma, with sages guiding rulers after moments of triumph.
After Yudhiṣṭhira’s Rājasūya sacrifice concludes, Vyāsa arrives accompanied by his disciples to meet him. This sets up the next developments in the Sabha Parva, where the aftermath of royal glory turns toward serious reflection and impending challenges.
