राजसूयविचारः — Deliberation on the Rajasuya and the Summoning of Kṛṣṇa
एतत् संचिन्त्य राजेन्द्र यत् क्षेमं तत् समाचर । अप्रमत्तोत्थितो नित्य चातुर्वर्ण्यस्य रक्षणे
etad sañcintya rājendra yat kṣemaṃ tat samācara | apramatto'tthito nityaṃ cāturvarṇyasya rakṣaṇe ||
Nārada disse: “Ó melhor dos reis, tendo refletido sobre tudo isto, faze aquilo que discernires como verdadeiramente conducente ao bem-estar e à segurança. Permanece sempre vigilante e pronto para agir, comprometido em salvaguardar a ordem social das quatro varṇa, para que cada classe seja protegida em seus deveres próprios.”
नारद उवाच
A ruler should deliberate carefully and then act for the realm’s true welfare (kṣema), remaining constantly vigilant and proactive in protecting the dharmic functioning of society—here expressed as safeguarding the four varṇas in their rightful duties and security.
Nārada addresses a king (rājendra), concluding a counsel section by urging him to reflect on the preceding guidance and to implement what ensures stability and well-being, emphasizing continual alertness in maintaining social order.
