मयस्य प्रतिकृतिः — Maya’s Offer and the Commissioning of the Sabhā
तर्पयित्वा द्विजश्रेष्ठानू पायसेन सहस्रश: । धनं बहुविध॑ दत्त्वा तेभ्य एव च वीर्यवान्
tarpayitvā dvijaśreṣṭhān pāyasena sahasraśaḥ | dhanaṃ bahuvidhaṃ dattvā tebhya eva ca vīryavān |
Disse Vaiśampāyana: Tendo satisfeito milhares dos melhores entre os “duas-vezes-nascidos” com arroz-doce, o valente concedeu-lhes riquezas de muitas espécies. Assim, com ritos auspiciosos e dádivas generosas, a empreitada firmou-se no dharma—honrando brāhmaṇas eruditos e buscando a sanção sagrada antes de iniciar a construção do salão real.
