Vasudeva–Arjuna Dialogue in the Aftermath of Dvārakā

Educational Q&A

The verse highlights steadfast loyalty to dharma-guided leadership: people from multiple social groups—clan heirs and members of all varṇas—align behind Arjuna, implying that righteous protection and responsibility can unify society beyond status distinctions.

In the Mausala Parva’s aftermath of the Yādavas’ destruction, the sons of the Andhaka and Vṛṣṇi clans, together with brāhmaṇas, kṣatriyas, vaiśyas, and wealthy śūdras, are described as following Arjuna, indicating an organized movement under his guardianship.
