गमनाय मतिं चक्रे भ्रातरश्षास्य ते तदा | उन धर्मात्मा नरेशने नगर और जनपदके लोगोंको समझा-बुझाकर उनकी अनुमति प्राप्त कर ली। फिर उन्होंने और उनके भाइयोंने सब कुछ त्यागकर महा-प्रस्थान करनेका ही निश्चय किया

Transliteration

gamanāya matiṁ cakre bhrātaraś cāsya te tadā |

Translation

Disse Vaiśampāyana: Então aqueles irmãos tomaram a decisão de partir. Tendo aconselhado os cidadãos e o povo do reino e obtido seu consentimento, o rei justo e seus irmãos renunciaram a tudo e escolheram firmemente o caminho da Grande Partida (mahāprasthāna).
