viprahīṇa-rathāś caiva śaraiḥ parikarṣitāḥ

Translation

Sañjaya disse: “Privados de seus carros e arrastados por saraivadas de flechas, os guerreiros foram lançados à impotência — imagem de como, na guerra, o orgulho e a posição desabam quando os apoios são destruídos.”
