ततो धनुज्यामवनाम्य शीघ्र शरानस्तानाधिरथेर्विंधम्य

Transliteration

tato dhanujyām avanāmya śīghraṃ śarān astānādhirather vindhamya

Translation

Disse Sañjaya: Então, curvando rapidamente a corda do arco, ele encaixou as flechas e as apontou contra o guerreiro do carro—um gesto urgente de arte bélica, mostrando como, no aperto da guerra, habilidade e velocidade se voltam para o sombrio ofício de abater o oponente.
