ते वध्यमानाश्न नरेन्द्रमुख्या निर्भिद्यन्तो भीमशरप्रवेकै:
te vadhyamānāś ca narendramukhyā nirbhidyamānā bhīmaśarapravekaiḥ
Sañjaya disse: Mesmo enquanto eram abatidos, aqueles reis eminentes eram trespassados pelas excelentes flechas de Bhīma — imagem da justiça implacável do campo de batalha, onde nem a posição nem o orgulho oferecem refúgio contra as consequências da guerra.
