अनाश्षचर्य हि तत् त्वत्तस्त्वं हि पार्थ महारथ: । 'पार्थ! सब राजा जानते हैं कि सिंधुराज जयद्रथका वध एक आश्वर्यभरी घटना है
anāścarya hi tat tvattas tvaṃ hi pārtha mahārathaḥ |
Sañjaya disse: “Isso não é de modo algum surpreendente quando vem de ti. Tu, ó Pārtha, és de fato um grande guerreiro de carro (mahāratha). Embora os reis chamem de maravilha a morte de Jayadratha, senhor de Sindhu, para alguém de tua força extraordinária isso é apenas o que convém.”
संजय उवाच
Extraordinary results are not ‘miracles’ when they arise from established excellence and disciplined capability; true greatness makes difficult deeds appear natural, aligning prowess with one’s dharma.
Sañjaya, narrating the battle to Dhṛtarāṣṭra, remarks that although the killing of Jayadratha is widely regarded as astonishing, it is not surprising coming from Arjuna, renowned as a mahāratha.
