ते नित्यमुदिता जेतुं मृधे शत्रूनरिंदम । न जात्वाधिरयथेर्भीता: पञ्चाला: स्यु: पराड्मुखा:
te nityam uditā jetuṁ mṛdhe śatrūn ariṁdama | na jātva ādhirathyer bhītāḥ pāñcālāḥ syuḥ parāṅmukhāḥ ||
Disse Sañjaya: «Ó domador de inimigos, os Pāñcālas estão sempre despertos para vencer seus adversários na batalha. Nunca os Pāñcālas, por medo de Ādhirathya (Karṇa), voltarão o rosto para longe do combate.»
