रुदित्वा सुचिरं काल भ्रातरौ सुमहाद्युती । कृतशौचौ महाराज प्रीतिमन्तौ बभूवतु:,महाराज! वे दोनों महातेजस्वी भाई दीर्घकालतक रोते रहे। इससे उनके मनकी मैल धुल गयी और वे दोनों भाई परस्पर प्रेमसे भर गये
ruditvā suciraṁ kālaṁ bhrātarau sumahādyutī | kṛtaśaucau mahārāja prītimantau babhūvatuḥ ||
Disse Sañjaya: “Depois de chorarem por muito tempo, ó rei, os dois irmãos de grande esplendor ficaram purificados, como que lavados por dentro; e encheram-se de afeição mútua.”
संजय उवाच

Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that two brothers, after weeping for a long time, become inwardly purified and regain mutual love—signaling a softening of hostility and a return of familial feeling.
