इयेष निर्गन्तुमथो वनाय त॑ वासुदेव: प्रणतो5भ्युवाच
iyeṣa nirgantum atho vanāya taṁ vāsudevaḥ praṇato 'bhyuvāca
Disse Sañjaya: Quando ele resolveu partir para a floresta, Vāsudeva—curvando-se em reverência—dirigiu-lhe a palavra. O instante assinala uma virada moral: o recolhimento e a renúncia não são enfrentados com força, mas com conselho respeitoso, sugerindo que, mesmo na crise, deve-se guiar pela humildade e pela fala correta, e não pela coerção.
