The Neutralization of Alambusa
The verse highlights how collective emotion and training can amplify an atmosphere—here, the exhilaration of war is intensified through disciplined performance. It implicitly contrasts technical skill and excitement with the grave ethical weight of battle that surrounds such pageantry.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that well-trained, skilled musicians are joyfully sounding many instruments, creating a loud, celebratory martial soundscape as events in the war unfold.
