वज्संहादसंकाशस्त्रासयन् मानवान् बहून् | आर्य! उनके धनुषकी प्रत्यंचाका गम्भीर घोष सम्पूर्ण दिशाओंमें सुनायी देता था। वह वज्रकी गर्जनाके समान घोर शब्द बहुसंख्यक मनुष्योंको भयभीत कर रहा था
vajrasaṃhādasaṃkāśas trāsayan mānavān bahūn |
Sañjaya disse: “Como o estrondo de um raio, o som grave e ressonante da corda de seu arco foi ouvido em todas as direções. Aquele ruído terrível, semelhante ao trovão, lançou medo em multidões de homens.”
